. In trouble in the Shroud? . This is the best way to get right into things! Talia traverses nearly every area of the Shroud, and won't hesitate to help if she comes across anyone who is in danger, injured, anxious, or lost.. New in town? . Talia is oddly eager to seize the chance to welcome visitors to Gridania. If your character is visiting the city for whatever reason, there's a good chance they'll bump into her as she makes her rounds. She'll be happy to answer any questions they might have, or to help them feel at home!. Browsing the markets? . Talia has a stall in the Gridanian marketplace a couple days per week, out of which she sells flower arrangements and her own abstract impressionist paintings. If your character is browsing, they can drop on by and she'll be happy to make something just for them!
. In general... . Talia is a supporting character, both combat-wise and story-wise - meant to make an active effort to progress others' stories in a meaningful way. As such, she is generally a great addition to the stories of most characters she is compatible with.She is most likely to get along with: common folk, tradespeople, artists, healers, travelers, explorers, relic seekers.She might get along with: adventurers, vigilantes, monster / voidsent hunters (if they avoid violence against people); academics, researchers, or engineers (she is not very educated).She is unlikely to get along with: mercenaries, assassins, soldiers, thieves, bandits, tournament fighters, excessive flirts, edgelords (affectionate).

* Details.
. At first glance: . Short and thin. Auburn hair, pale skin, and freckles all over. Speaks with a bit of a working class / 'Shroud country' accent. Almost always wears flowers in her hair or on her person somewhere. Has a strong personality and is deeply expressive of all emotions, both positive and negative. She is most often bright and friendly, but is also quick to frustrate and become hot-headed when things don't go her way. Her attention frequently shifts between topics with little provocation and is quick to stray away from things that don't hold her interest. Because of this she can often come across as abrasive or self-centered, but those who get to know her well will find that she tends to show care in abundance through more indirect methods.
. A closer look: . Seems to have history to various degrees with the Conjurers' Guild, Ishgard, and the Far East - but doesn't speak openly about these. Possesses some level of magical ability and has worked as an aetherial healer and medic in the past. Currently sells colorful custom flower arrangements and abstract/impressionist paintings out of a stall called The Floral Spectrum - mainly in the markets in Gridania, sometimes in Ishgard or at special events in other cities. Also takes care of many of the flowers and planters around Gridania and in settlements around the Shroud (such as Buscarron's). Despite appearing to be a common floral artist by all accounts, her deft hands and esoteric understandings may betray another hidden skillset...
Hello! I'm often found idling about in Gridania on Balmung or Mateus; usually tabbed out, but not AFK. If you are reading this because you found me in game, please feel free to send me a /tell and I am always happy to say hi, talk about RP, help with content, whatever! (RP only with players 21+.)
. Availability: . I am based in Central time (CST) and have a very predictable schedule, being available evenings and nights on weekdays, anytime on weekends.. Contact: . Send a /tell or find me in Gridania and say hi! This is my preferred method of contact. I tend not to add people as a friend in-game right away unless I spend time with them regularly, since the Friends list system has some glaring issues. Please understand this is a reflection of my problems with the game itself, and not at all with you! I am still happy to chat, play, and RP with anyone - and if we end up doing things often then I'm happy to add people in game, Discord, etc from there. I also prefer not to exchange moon codes with most people for similar reasons.. RP Types: . Long-term adventure/plot is by far my favorite type of RP, though I also thoroughly enjoy slice of life and one on one conversations. I LOVE scenes that get the characters up and moving around the game world, as opposed to small talking in one place. I generally do not enjoy idle tavern/venue RP, though sometimes it has its place. (Tip: If you plan a picnic, she will be your new best friend!)
. RP Style: . I have been RPing in FFXIV for many years and am comfortable in groups and events of all types and sizes. My writing generally matches the tone of the game, striking a balance between lighthearted and more serious themes without going too dark - however I am comfortable with most subject matter as long as it serves the story. I prefer to RP in-game only.. Romance?: . Talia needs to make a close connection with someone before she will even consider them as a potential romantic interest - and even then, she is one with strong preferences and many walls around her heart. So while I am open to most things with someone she is closely connected to, quick hookups are a no.. Lore: . In terms of lore adherence, I am neither extremely strict nor completely loose. Talia falls in the middle, with her 'class' and abilities being a unique hybrid of two existing jobs that plays with the setting's super soft magic system in creative ways while still remaining plausible. I quite enjoy RPing with similarly creative characters, though basic/vanilla characters are fantastic, too! Characters from other shards/worlds, non-humanoids, non-playable races, WoLs, ultra-high-power characters, and those with associations with canon characters, however, are a bit outside of my preference.
